Venture concept 24

Venture Concept For my concept, I want to have a service that installs separate roads specifically for scooters and other smaller vehicles. This road would cut through a campus or any large area that has limited roads and a lot of foot traffic. People would be able to purchase a decal to use this road and park on it. It would, for example, cut through Plaza of the Americas and would get students to class much more quickly and take traffic off the roads for cars. This road can be used by faculty or by students, and even Gainesville residents. Anyone who frequently comes through campus could use this, but it would be mostly college students. College students are the perfect market for this, and they are already constrained to the area exactly where the product would be. The value derived from this comes from saving time that’s wasted when scooters have to deal with traffic, as well as having safer commutes to class without having to share the road with cars. This would be catered sp...

25A What's Next?

Existing Market: 1.      What’s Next: There will be no service workers that actually work in the field. The only workers would work in an office or in a remote location where people could purchase details or go for customer service. I would also need to heavily market the product and work on pricing. 2.      After the interviews, I learned from my interviewees that they would prefer a better pricing option than that of UF or Gainesville parking decals. They agreed that, with a product like this that would significantly improve their everyday life, they would be willing to pay a decent amount of money similar to that of UF’s, but would like an option for monthly or quarterly pricing. 3.      For the future, I think the plan would need to focus on improving the current, most similar service, parking. Decals are very present on this campus and I wouldn’t want to introduce something too drastically different than what peop...

23 EP3

In my third edition of this pitch, I didn't change my outfit but I tried to focus more on my product and how it would benefit my customers, as my feedback pointed out was needed. I also tried to keep it concise and to the point. My feedback said I did a good job about getting to the point so I tried to emphasize that and keep a lot of that in this pitch, but I tried to make sure I didn't speak too quickly and seem rushed. I know the assignment said we should feel more comfortable in front of the camera, but that is something I have always had trouble with and will always need to work on.
