19A Napkin 2

1) You.  My name is Megan Carney. I am a third-year advertising student at the University of Florida. I’ve lived in Florida my whole life and love it here. I consider myself a part of the UF and Gainesville community and I know a lot of friends who feel the same way. Like many other UF students, I have a scooter here in Gainesville. One thing that I deal with on almost a daily basis as a scooter owner is getting stuck in traffic when I’m riding my scooter around traffic. Being on the same road as cars can get scary sometimes, as there are different speeds, sizes, and blind spots. 2)  What are you offering to customers?  I’m offering customers a path that would cut through a college campus and allow scooters and smaller vehicles to get off the road and into a safer and more efficient way of travel. 3)  Who are you offering it to?  This road can be used by faculty or by students, and even Gainesville residents, but after review I realize it would ...

18A Customer Avatar

My customer avatar would be, first and foremost, a college student who owns a scooter. The age would range from 16-25. The gender could be male or female. For this example, I’ll use a female. She is someone who is social and a great network for spreading news (about, say, this new product). Her hobbies include gong to the gym and going out with her friends, as she is willing to put a little extra money on the side for her social life. She may or may not be associated with greek life, but either way she has friends on both sides. She would drive something along the lines of a Jeep Liberty or a Volkswagen Jetta. She watches TV shows that have a large fan base, such as Game of Thrones, Friends, This is Us and The Bachelor. She wo...

16A Secret Sauce

Five ways in which I think I have human capital that is truly unique: ·       Creativity: Yes, obviously there are a lot of people who are creative, especially in an entrepreneurship setting, but I think I have a great balance of creativity, while still being able to cater to what something may need. By that, I mean I won’t just create something that I think is great or perfect, but something that will attract the right people (such as packaging catered to adults). ·       Sense of Humor: I have a sense of humor that is a lot different from people in my age group, which gives me a perspective on things that sets me apart from those of my peers. ·       Innovation: I know that there is never just one solution to a problem. I remember that I was once locked out on my balcony when the door handle fell off, so I used the cap of a gas can and one of the screws to get the knob to turn from the outside. · ...
